Where Have India’s Females Gone?

It was recently announced that the men found guilty of the December 2012 gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in Delhi have been sentenced to death. As people celebrate in the streets, there are many that ask whether this case will go down in history as a game changer for India’s women. Only time will tell.

 

 

The fact still stands that a woman is raped in India every 20 minutes. India’s leaders must continue to search for answers on how to make India safe for EVERY woman. Let us continue to remember the many women who are struggling for their voices to be heard…

    In my eyes a major thing that is different about Red Light districts in Amsterdam or the brothels in Germany, or even the brothels in Nevada, USA, most of the business is from tourists. Is the Mumbai Red Light district frequented by mostly locals or tourists? I will have to find out.
