Home for Girls

These are residential centers situated in Badlapur for vulnerable girls, orphans of women used in prostitution, abandoned in Mumbai’s ‘red light’ district, offering care with integrated medical, educational and social services. They are ‘safe houses’ and protect them from the dangers on the street, thus breaking the cycle of prostitution and preventing them from following their mothers’ footsteps.

    Dear friends,
I would love to learn more about your ministry. My husband & I (and our family) are praying about possibly doing mission work in India. Over a year ago, the Lord really laid the girls(who have been sold and abused in sex slavery) on my heart and I would love to help counsel them and see them made whole in Christ. My husband would be open to helping possibly with vocational training or something in the agricultural line. He is an excellent father and husband which I know would be good for the girls to see a loving “father” figure. We have 4 children ages 2, 6, 8, and 10. My husband & I were in India in March of this year with our pastor & his wife and another couple. We visited Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chitoor. Here in the states, we are taking the Perspectives course(a mission course) and just praying and waiting on the Lord. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks so much and many blessings on your ministry!!!
    Sincerely,
    Joanne Sauder
